3rd Annual Burlington County Battle of the Books

This year our swim club and swim team are taking part in the third annual Burlington County Book Battle to benefit BookSmiles, a local non-profit in South Jersey that collects new and gently used books to build libraries for children in need. The Book Battle will take place between swim clubs/teams in Burlington County during the regular Tri-County Swimming season from June 25th-July 25. Whichever club collects the most books wins! The winner will be announced at the Jack Hafner Championship Meet and will take home bragging rights and a prize! Help Pomona win the book battle by donating books!!! Here’s how you can participate:

Drop off new or gently used books (children or adult) to Pomona’s BookSmiles collection bin anytime from Saturday, June 25th to Saturday, July 20th during club hours or swim practice. Clean out your closets and help our club win the Burlington County Book Battle!
