We hope that everyone had a great 4th of July weekend. The weather certainly cooperated. We wanted to thank the managers and staff for all that they are doing to keep the pool open and safe for you, our members! We also wanted to thank all of you for your patience and cooperation throughout the 1st few weeks of the season. Our future success depends upon all of us working together. We could not do it without you.
We are pleased to let you know that the Health Department has allowed us to open the slide and diving board. We are also able to increase our daily capacity above 250. As a result, we were able to invite our new members to begin enjoying Pomona this week. Thanks to our new members for your patience as we got the club ready for you. We hope that you will enjoy all that the club has to offer. If you have any questions please reach out to a staff member or email a board member.
The health and safety of our members and staff continues to remain our highest priority. Please do not visit the pool if you are not feeling well. Everyone is strongly encouraged to wear a cloth face covering while not in the pool when social distancing of 6 feet cannot be maintained, unless doing so would inhibit the individual’s health. This is particularly important when arriving and leaving the club, when visiting the snack bar and when walking around the grounds. We would also like to remind everyone that footwear is required in the restrooms. A link to all the initial health department guidelines for outdoor pools is below.
New Jersey COVID-19 Outdoor Pool Standards
We have had many discussions about our guest policy. Due to complexities with waivers, contact tracing and contactless payment, we have decided to continue our “No Guest / No Parties” policy. We will continue to monitor and discuss this policy over the next few weeks and will provide an update if anything changes.
Many of our members are eligible for a partial refund because of the pro-ration of dues or payment of the minimum dues after you already made full payment. We will have these refund checks in the mail to you by August 1st. Thanks in advance for your patience.
