2018 Lifeguard Certification course at Pomona Swim Club
Pomona Swim Club is hosting a Lifeguard course.

Lifeguard Certification Course:
Lifeguard certification course will be held the following dates at Pomona Swim Club:
Friday May 11th 5 pm -9 pm
Saturday May 12th 8 am – 5 pm
Friday May 18th 5 pm – 9 pm
Saturday May 19th 8 am- 5 pm
Students must be able to:
Swim 300 yards (Front crawl or Breast stroke)
Tread water for 2 minutes without the use of their hands
Retrieve a 10 pound block from the a minimum depth of 7 feet of water and swim it 20 yards in 1:40 sec.
Students unable to complete these tasks will not be permitted to take the class. A $50 fee will be applied to those who are unsuccessful.
Cost:
$235 if registered and paid in full prior to 4/15/18
$250 if registered and paid in full between 4/16/18 and 5/10/18
$265 if registered and paid in full day of course.
Lifeguard Re-Certification Course:
Date: Sunday May 20th 2018 at Pomona Swim Club
Time: 8 am – 6 pm
Cost: $90
Registration deadline: May 13th
All participants must have a valid lifeguard cert or a cert that is expired less than 30 days
